Closer than it looks
By air
Stockholm → Vilhelmina (VHM), Lycksele (LYC) or Umeå Airport (UME), about 1.5 h in the air. Then a road transfer to the lodge: 1 h from Vilhelmina, 1 h 45 min from Lycksele and 3 h 30 min from Umeå. Transfers start from €51, free with some packages.
By car
It's about 9 hours from Stockholm to Lapla Fishing via the E4. Free parking right at the lodge - and the drive up through Lapland is half the trip.
By ferry
Travel comfortably by taking an overnight cabin ferry to Sweden and enjoying a scenic daytime drive north. Direct routes operate from the Baltics (Paldiski–Kapellskär, Tallinn–Stockholm, Ventspils–Nynäshamn), Poland (Gdańsk–Nynäshamn), and Germany (Kiel–Gothenburg, Rostock/Travemünde–Trelleborg). After a restful night on board, simply follow your navigation north through scenic Sweden straight to our lodge in Långsjöby (near Storuman).
